With this win, the side has moved to the top of the points table. They would look to continue with the dominance and bank on their strengths and take a step closer to a berth in the Eliminator.  

Shivam Singh and Rahul got starts in the last game, and the side will expect a big opening wicket stand from them. Baba Indrajith has done well and must build partnerships with Boopathi Kumar and Ashwin in the middle order. The lower middle order rescued them in the last game, and they will expect runs from Adithya Ganesh, C Sarath Kumar, and Suboth Bhati.   

They have a strong bowling attack and shall expect good spells with the new ball from P Saravana Kumar and S Arun. Ashwin and Varun Chakravarthy have a lot of experience and will look to trouble the Kovai Kings’ batsmen in the middle overs. They are up against a strong side, and Khan will expect good performances from his key players. They must bat well in this game to win and move to the top of the points table.  

S Sujay did well in the last game, and he must give the side an electrifying start with J Suresh Kumar. Sai Sudharsan adds solidity to this line-up in the middle order, and he needs to add runs with Ram Arvindh and U Mukilesh. Shahrukh Khan and M Mohammed must do the heavy lifting in the lower middle order.
