Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill formed a strong opening combination last season, and the side will like a strong show from them. . Rahul Tewatia is a clean striker and will look to add runs down the order with Rashid Khan.  

Mohammad Shami and Yash Dayal did a good job last season with the new ball, and the side will expect to see a good show from them in this game. Rashid Khan is the key bowler for the side, and his spell in the middle overs will be important for the team. Chennai Super Kings Preview

MS Dhoni's side made headlines for the wrong reasons last year and finished 9th on the points table, the worst season ever for the two-time champions. Dhoni, who is a veteran of many battles, shall look to inspire his team. They need to get the playing combination right which was one of the problems for the side last season.  

Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad will be key players with the bat, and the side needs a good start from them. They had done well in the last few games. The middle order has experienced players, and the team will expect Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, and Ben Stokes. Dhoni, Shivam Dube, and Ravindra Jadeja add firepower to this batting line-up.  

Deepak Chahar must get early breakthroughs for the side as he opens the bowling with Rajvardhan Hangargekar. Mitchell Santner and Shivam Dube must bowl tight spells in the middle overs, as the Titans have good strikers in the side.
