Sri Lanka Women have got off to a really good start in this series. They were extremely convincing in the ODI Series and would want to take this form into the T20 series as well. They were dominant with both bat and ball in the previous ODI they played, and willl look to take that form into the T20s.

Deciding to bat first, the openers got off to a really good start in the 2nd ODI. The openers put on a half century stand and the game which got cut short to 30 overs, Sri Lanka managed to score 186 losing 5 wickets. Chamari Athapaththu scored 64 off 60 balls. Harshitha Samarawickrama gave good support, scoring 45 runs off 48 balls.

The Bowling department made easy work of defending the total, bowling Bangladesh out for 128 runs in 29.5 overs. They did not let the Bangladeshi batsmen get off to any start, as they picked up wickets at regular intervals. Oshadi Ranasinghe wicked up a 5 wicket haul, running through the Bangladeshi Batting order.

Not the way, the Bangladesh Women's team would have wanted this tour to go. In Spite of the ODI series being disturbed by rain, the Bangladesh squad have not shown any fight whatsoever. They will want to ensure that they do not repeat the showings of the 2nd ODI and come good in the T20i Series.

Put into the bowl first, the Sri Lankans got off to a really good start. The bowlers struggled to put any kind of hold on the batsmen and went for plenty of runs in the death overs which cost them dear. All the bowlers used, picked up a wicket each. But the most economical bowler of them all was Sultana Khatun, who picked up 1 wicket for 22 runs in 6 overs.

The Batting department could not cope up with the relentless pressure and class of the Sri Lankan bowling department. Losing wickets at regular intervals meant that there was no solid partnership and they ended up getting bowled out for a score off 128, which was nowhere near to the target.
