The contest between these teams is expected to be an entertaining one. But off late the Warriors and the Bulls going in opposite directions in the points table. The Warriors have not been able to forge a winning combination while the Bengaluru Bulls are racing ahead just on the basis of a team effort.

The Bengal Warriors have been totally dependent on exploits by Maninder Singh and defender Girish Ernak. That has slowed them down in this journey. They are slow to start and are forced to compensate in the second half to save the match. They lost to the Tamil Thalaiva in their last game due to the same reason.

The Bengaluru Bulls lost a tough match to the Puneri Paltan. The match went down the wire and was decided on the last raid. But overall the Bulls are much better equipped to handle the Warriors. The Bengal Warriors have to win every game from here to stay in contention for the playoff else they will have no option in the season but to take the mat just to entertain their fans.

Bengal Warriors Preview

Former champions have not been able to live up to their potential. They have an exciting bunch of players, but they could not forge partnerships among their teams. The Warriors have depended heavily on their captain Maninder Singh and defender Girish Ernak. Both of them have been in sensational form, but the team can’t win games just with 2 players.

Smiling Assassin Maninder Singh has scored 174 raid points from 133 successful raids.

Defender Girish Ernak has executed 39 successful tackles in 13 matches. Still, the Bengal Warriors have been able to win just 2 out of their last 3 matches. They were forced to settle for a TIE against the UP Yodha. The Warriors were fortunate not to lose that high-scoring game.

They beat the Gujarat Fortune Giants comfortably in their next game prompting their fans to expect more from them. Maninder Singh, Deepak Hooda, and Shrikant Jadhav scored 28 points between them as the Warriors won by a margin of 19 points. This was followed by a hammering from the Puneri Paltan who gave the Warriors a taste of their own medicine.

The Warriors put up a good show against the Telegu Titans in their next match but their ship struck the iceberg against the Tamil Thalaiva. The Bengal Warriors are like the pendulum of a clock as inconsistency has dogged their campaign.

They have 7 more games to play and each will be a must-win game. The Warriors have to step up their efforts in terms of raid earnings without depending too much on Maninder Singh. Their success rate in tackles is almost 40% but the biggest issue is the low intensity with which they start the match.

The Bengal Warriors have notched 16 Super raids which are the highest by any team.

They have inflicted 22 all-outs and conceded 16. But these 6 have come at crucial moments which have erased all the advantages earned and the Warriors have lost important games. They will be up against a Supercharged Bengaluru Bulls and it will be the most difficult match for the Warriors.

Bengaluru Bulls Preview

The Bengaluru Bulls have been one of the most consistent teams in the season and they are also one of the hottest title contenders. Teamwork and tactical supremacy have allowed them to mow down opponents at will. They are placed second behind the Puneri Paltan in the points table after playing 16 matches.

They have had an odd hiccup but otherwise, the Bengaluru Bulls have done well this season. The former champions would be brimming with confidence as they get ready to face the Bengal Warriors. Raiders Bharat Hooda and Neeraj Narwal have complemented each other while Vikash Kandola has been slightly off-color lately. But the Bulls have used the services of all-rounders Sachin Narwal and Ran Singh Raniya in recent games.

The Bulls have a stable defense mechanism headed by Saurabh Nandal along with Aman, Mahender, and Mayur Kadam. This group has conducted 152 successful team tackles in 16 matches. Raiders Neeraj Narwal has contributed in assists with his lethal ankle holds.

Raider Bharat Hooda is on top of the charts with 186 raid points in 150 successful raids. This includes 11 Super 10’s as well as 7 Super raids.

Defender Saurabh Nandal has executed 50 successful tackles and makes him one of the most dangerous defenders on the circuit.

Interestingly the Bengal Warriors have an upper hand when it comes to head-to-head. The Bengaluru Bulls have won 9 out of their 19 encounters and both sides have never settled for a TIE. The Bulls lost to the Warriors earlier in the season by a margin of 9 points.

Though it was the early part of the season, the Bulls tried too many things in that match and hence lost it. But a lot has changed for both teams since then and the Bengaluru Bulls look strong and unbeatable.

The Bengal Warriors are in a precarious situation as they take on the Bengaluru Bulls. It will be one of the most difficult games for the Warriors as have not been able to win games consistently.

Captain Maninder Singh will once again earn handsomely but off-late opposition defenders have been able to slow him down. He will score a Super 10. Shrikant Jadhav may surprise the Bulls in the second half. Defender Parveen Sethpal will support Girish Ernak but other defenders may be slippery. Deepak Niwas Hooda needs to rise to the occasion for his team.

The Bulls will rely on the tried and tested trio of Bharat Hooda, Neeraj, and Vikash Kandola for raids. The 3 will earn handsomely, especially in the first half. Defenders Saurabh and Aman will trap the Bengal support raiders and stagnate their scoring. We may be able to see some Super tackles from the Bulls in the second half. The Bengaluru Bulls will stun the Warriors with an all-out in the first half. One of the Bengaluru defenders will score a Hi5.

This will be a tough game for the Bulls but they will cross the finish line as winners.

Bengaluru Bulls will win.
