The Thalaiva has found the elixir of kabaddi as they have forged a group of restless and emotional players. They beat the Gujarat Fortune Giants in their last match as two of their raiders scored a Super 10. Just imagine what would have happened if Pawan Sehrawat would have been fit to play. But the Thalaiva has fought hard with top sides to steal victories helping them to move up the points table. They may not look a dangerous side, but the Thalaiva has conned the best in the business.  

Dabang Delhi survived a dangerous phase in the season where they got caught in quicksand. Fortunately, they were able to rescue themselves in time and return back with resilience. Dabang will take on a spirited and dangerous Tamil Thalaiva in their next match. But they will not forget that the Thalaiva had defeated them comfortably in their last meeting this season. This will be a tough one for Dabang Delhi.

Dabang Delhi displayed contrasting emotions this season. From being unbeatable to playing like amateurs they have seen both sides of the coin. But the defending champions have worked their way back as they still remain in the hunt for the playoff. They have won 9 out of their 18 matches but they need to win all their remaining games. 

Naveen Kumar is their only hope for the resurrection. He is the top-performing raider of the season with 194 points from 161 raids. This includes 13 Super 10’s. 

What has hurt Dabang is a sudden loss of confidence in their defense. In their match against the Jaipur Pink Panthers, the defending champions could score only 7 tackle points. To add to this breakdown, Dabang Delhi was all-out thrice in that match. 

Dabang Delhi was guilty of the same against the Puneri Paltan where they conceded 3 all-outs in the match. This loss of steam takes away all the advantage that is achieved by Naveen in his raids. Dabang had a similar issue against the Bengaluru Bulls in their last game which was a high scoring one. Even though Naveen and Vijay Malik each scored a Super 10, and defender Vishal scored a Hi 5, they still could not stop Bulls raider Bharat from looting 23 points. This took the game away from them as they lost by a margin of 3 points. 

Dabang Delhi has conceded 716 points this season which is the second-highest behind the Telegu Titans.

They have recovered well to come back in the top 6 on the points table, but more needs to be done. They have to be careful against the Thalaiva who has beaten them once this season. A loss in this match will spell doomsday for the defending champions.

Tamil Thalaivas Preview

The Thalaiva has displayed strength and honor in difficult times. With sheer hard work and dedication, they have managed to win 8 out of their 18 matches. The youngsters in the Thalaiva squad have impressed everybody with their tenacity. Young raiders like Narender and Himanshu have been brilliant while Ajinkya Pawar has been a steady earner. Captain Sagar will be quite happy with their current performance after the bitter start for the Thalaiva this season.

Though the Tamil Thalaiva is desperately waiting for the return of Hi Flyer Pawan Sehrawat, they will keep fighting. Captain Sagar got a break in the last match against the Gujarat Fortune Giants as right corner Arpit Saroha got an opportunity. Stand-in Captain Ajinkya Pawar scored a Super 10 as the Thalaiva got the better of the Fortune Giants. 

Tamil Thalaiva has put in 273 successful team raids along with 177 successful team tackles in 18 games. 

They have also executed 6 Super tackles in 21 games which proves that they can escape from tricky situations.

Unfortunately, the Tamil Thalaiva has conceded 25 all-outs which reduces their chances of winning games or even making a comeback.

Tamil Thalaiva has lost just 1 out of their last 5 matches and will be brimming with confidence. They stumbled against the Jaipur Pink Panthers earlier in the week as their raiders were caught off guard.

But they will depend on young raiders like Narender and Ajinkya Pawar. Defenders Sahil Gulia and Himanshu have been lethal in their tackles as Abishek and Mohit have assisted in multiple attacks. This will be the biggest inspiration for the young side as they carve their way to the playoff.
