The Haryana Steelers have been one of the most exciting teams on the circuit. They started off well but somehow could not brew a lethal team combination. Even coach Manpreet who is known for this astute style could not extract the performance from his team.

Haryana hasn’t done justice to themselves this season. They have an enthusiastic bunch of players but could not rise to the occasion as a team. They are placed 8th in the points table as they get ready to take on the Telegu Titans. The Steelers have won 8 out of their 20 matches. They are a slight advantage over Dabang Delhi and Gujarat Fortune Giants who are their competitors for the last slot in the playoff. Dabang will play its last match with the Bengal Warriors while the Fortune Giants will take on the Jaipur Pink Panthers. Post the results of these matches, the Steelers will exactly know the equation when they take on the Tamil Thalaiva. Hence a big win over the Telegu Titans is a must for the Steelers.

Raiders Meetu Sharma and Manjeet Dahiya have earned raid points in all the games. Both have collectively looted 282 raid points in 20 games. But the Haryana Steelers have desperately missed the third raider in the season. Coach Manpreet and company could not create a match-winning recipe in most games. The Telegu Titans will enter the arena for one last time this season. The Titans have been through some rough times as they could win just 2 matches. They had the best team as they bought some big names in the auctions. But it did not help them secure a formidable combination on the mat. Deputy coach Manjeet Chillar too could not extract the best from the best.

Still, the Titans continued to fight as they lost matches regularly. They suffered an early blow when young raider Rajneesh was out of action due to injury. Star players like Monu Goyat, Surjeet, Parvesh Bhaiswal, and others could not perform as expected. 

But the Titans did shock everyone when they beat the Patna Pirates early in the season and then defeated U Mumba in the second half of the tournament. They lost to the Gujarat Fortune Giants in their last match. The Titans have started fielding young untested players for their squad. They got Mohammad Silas, right cover Nitin, and all-rounder Hanumanthu in the last match. One can expect these youngsters to shine against the Haryana Steelers. 

The Titans have conceded 45 all-outs in 21 matches which is the highest by any team. This means that on average, the Titans are all-out at least twice in every match.

But the Titans have also conducted 35 Super tackles. Defender Parvesh Bhaiswal was involved in 9 such spectacular Super tackles.
